I was at The Gym just the other day and saw a true blue 02 pull up with a windshield banner sticker with HORSEPOWERSTORE across the front of it in huge white letters. Anyone ever seen this truck before or know who it is, just wondering...

Went by www.HORSEPOWERSTORE.com and it looks like a vette/fbody shop in plano... Interesting...

Good question. I've driven by numerous times and always thought they were an LS1/Fbody store.

I wonder if they have extended their products and services to Lightnings?

Here's a Horsepower Store Camaro against a certain black Lightning last spring at Hallsville.

MadMax,
The Gym at Trinity Mills and Midway is a pretty good gym. I have been to quite a few and its my favorite. No stupid contracts or gimics, just pay as you go month to month in cash. The types that work out there are the more serious types so there isnt a whole lot of standing around and yacking while sitting on equipment and not using it like you get at 24 hour fitness/singles hookup. That is one way to **** me off fast. I could go on, but I wont...

One of the guys who works there just got that truck a couple of weeks ago. All they have done to it so far is add a 2 lb. pulley. Thats really the only mod they can get right now. They were primarily a f-body store. But apparently they are going to start doing lightning mods.

The horsepower store is off Plano Pkwy and some little side street either next to Race Trac or right after it coming from 75.

It's funny that the Horse Power Store loses to a certain Black lightning at Hallsville in the final so they go buy a Lightning! Those are some smart folks!

Too many roosters in the hen house eh? I specialize in Lightnings and have been working with members and helping to build the club as a whole for over a year. Then you buy a Lightning a few weeks ago and call me asking me how and what to tune and mod it with. Now you are on the TALON board selling mods you know little about:nono: Just not cool Jason.

I'll say 'welcome' with open arms if you are an L owner. I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt and say that you were unaware of our 'local' tuner. I understand that you may be offering an alternative, but our local guy is really second to none. :tu: He can help you take your truck to heights unknown, except to Sal at PSP. :)

Good luck with your truck BLU. I talked to you guys a few years back at Royal Ln. Someone had a yellow C5 and y'all were pretty friendly and seemed like good guys. Anyway, take care.

One question, did Go_Rila lay one on ya? :d

Dayum that SS got raped comin' out of the hole! WooHoo!!! :tu: :d

The LS1 looked to be pulling pretty good up top. Way to go Dennis!

That Hallsville track looks pretty nice! I thought some toothless East Texan had gotten an idea like Kevin Costner in Field of Dreams and tore up whatever the hell they farm out there to build a racetrack. Kick ass!:d  I can't wait to make it out there.

Well, posting "I own the store and, Hey all you lightning owners give me a call at the shop my #972-423-0190 and I will let you know about the prices" sounds pretty much like you're offering to sell parts to me:rolleyes:. Why would someone call the HP Store for prices NOT to buy? Doesn't add up. Now if you posted: call Terry/L8 APEX at PRD. That would sound like you trying to help me out.
L owners are a special breed more so than Vette owners as you have seen. There is a very limited number of them so most local speed shops do not even want to work on them. When they did they would treat them like Mustang motors, or other cars. Putting on generic speed parts not made to suit the needs of the Lightning. Most L parts are made one at a time at small family shops to order. That is why I became a Lightning specialist in D/FW. I work one on one with every customer, work on every truck myself start to finish and make sure it is right. I am no high volume speed accessory shop. Where you are thrown in order with a bunch of stangs and F-bodies for "the guys in back" to work through.
But if you say you are not here to sell and we are all misunderstanding your posts, okay. I will look forward to hearing from some HP Store referrals. I will gladly do the same for those pesky cars when they call.
