I'm heading out to Speedworks tomorrow morning to check the A/F on my chip reburn and wondered if aynone else was up for the trip. I'll probably be there at 10 when they open up to get it done and over with. I figure I'll have better A/F and torque numbers with the HP remaining pretty much the same.

Anyone interested?

It's 10 am now. I just got the post and would be up but if I leave now I will likely miss you. May go anyway.

devildog92 and I ended up going. There was one other guy there with a white '02 that visits here but doesn't usually post. My numbers weren't the best, but when I went back to study my old charts I realized I was lying to myself since my last dyno. Turns out it appears to me my 392 RWHP 467 ft.lb. torque run was a fluke :crying: . The graph shows a blip right at the end of the run when it was being shut down, and that's where it crossed 390. More realistic is about 383/460 with a 13.2:1 A/F @ 4800. This time around (after the A/F change) I ran a best of 376/458 (which is pretty close to where I was before, corrected for dumba$$ness), but my A/F dumped to about 10.8:1 @4800. My other street program had similar results with A/F dropping below 11:1 as well. I was pretty ticked when the numbers came back as lower than expected, but I now realize I was mistaken.
What do you guys think? Does this warrant a reburn to go a little leaner or should I leave well-enough alone? I've only got a 2#, open filter and chip (everything else I have will not lead to better HP numbers).

Seems pretty good...

Personally I like mine a little FAT...

I am checking my MOG to see how bad it is...

You wanted it fatter, it looks like you got it (10.8:1) :D

I went out to the dyno about 2:00 Sat and those guys ask me why I was late. I drove to Lewisvile from Rowlett and backed right onto the dyno with no cool down time. I only pulled on the race side and made 395.2 hp and 483.1 torque. The A/F was alittle fat @ 10.5:1. I dont plane to do anything about it for now, but when I upgrade to a 6# pulley and the single blade I will bring up the A/F for a reburn.

whats the chance that their dyno a/f is off..

I mean what is the likely hood that EVERY lightning that has run recently is 10.x A/F just about ??

The one guy that was there ran about 12.5:1 on his three runs and Dan was dead on at 11.5:1 or so. The sniffer will always remain questionable, but it was not something that occurred every time. My stock program was dead on, but my two street programs were both below 11:1. I guess I'll hold it for now. Isn't it when you build more power you will end up needing more fuel anyway?

Doug,
If the A/F is off to rich side, then Go_Rila was way lean and maybe that Mustang that through the rod was lean too?

I pegged the A/F on the street side at 10.0
