Does anyone know what frame is used for the Gen 1 trucks. I think I have heard it is a F-250 frame, but would like to know for sure. Does anyone know what year truck frames will match the frame as well?

From what I've read it was the same years (93-95) F150 'snowplow' frame

Yes a 460 or a 514 Crate Motor will fit in a Lightning! There was one at Lightning Fest this year that was Carburated. The Guys name is Copperhead and it was a beautiful truck. Get busy dude! The clock is already ticking down on Lightning Fest 2007! I didn't race this year but my truck comes out of the shop tomorrow with all the goodies installed. Be there or be square! lol

What year frames are the same as the 93-95???

92-96. I think the ones with the older front ends the front frame horns are different, so the bumper wont mount up and what not.

Body parts from the 92-96 are interchangable for the most part. Doors are different on the 92/93 compared to the 94/95/96 although they will fit. :cool:
