Tires for 20" replica wheels

Anyone have any suggestions? I've seen quite a few Falken tires in the required size (295/45/20). Are these worth a damn? The F1's are damn near $300 a tire for the 20-incher.

I think that is the wrong size brother.. I think David is running the HD tire I hear they were 700 a set. Less sidewall means narrower tire on that size rim.

The tires are exactly 1 1/2" taller than the 295/45/18
That will put your truck up 3/4" taller than before

Well I burned the falken tires off the back of my truck in about 10,000 miles. Then I went and spent too much money for my falken 20" Dunlops. But actually the 20s have lasted quite a long falken time. Longer than I was falken expecting. :burnout:

Ok. I'd like to keep the 295mm width, but I guess I'll need a 40 series vs. a 45 series with the 20's to correspond with the speedometer. Thanks for the info.

I'll keep checking. I want to avoid going to a smaller footprint if at all possible. Decisions, decisions...

I think the 20's may run the 275's to avoid balooning and wearing the centers. The 18's have enough sidewall at 45% aspect ratio to make this less of a problem. 20's aren't going to handle as well.

Good point and one well taken. However, if I wanted something to handle like a race car I would've purchased a Z06 instead of a 4680lb truck. :D
