After three years in Iraq.

After thousands of dead and injured soldiers; and still counting.

After billions of dollars spent, not on rebuilding Iraq, but on the war itself; and still counting.

One would pause for a minute and ask oneself with complete honesty;

Shall we get out of Iraq?

If we get out now, it will fall like it did when Bush Sr. pulled out

Oh by the way should we get the troops out of Germany that we have had since World War 2, or the troops in Bosnia that Clinton sent that are still there??

If World War 2 had as much exposure on the INTERNET and TV, then people would be complaining to bring troops home, but it was needed to keep them there for as long as they were for the greater good.

:ron:
I'm not biased or anything, just had a close friend get shot in the head by a sniper while on duty guarding an Iraq Police Station, sniper shot him, they drug his body away and then drove a car with a bomb into the station blowing it up. Another friend got shot and killed while walking in the streets. Both families still believe in the War and what there sons died fighting for

If you want peace, then prepare for war

To answer your question no we shouldn't

+1. My cousin and his wife are both over there serving. Friends from high school also. I hate the gas prices and I hate people dying, but the crap that happens over there will effect us again if we pull out. We don't need another 9/11.

I'd rather the United States continue fighting the terrorists over there than on our own soil.

Once the Iraqi police are trained and have sufficient numbers to combat the insurgents, we need to bring our boys home and put them on our southern border.

I wonder if there are illegal Canadians in the Northern States mowing people's yards for cheap. What about putting a fence around Florida for the Cubans that wash ashore? Hmm I do agree with the fact that we are not letting Mexicans that are already here that have felons or 3 or more misdemeanors become citizens.

How's that for switching the topic.:evil

We need to finish the job. If we pull out now many innocent people that cannot defend themselves will likely be killed.

IMO, protesting pansies like this need to move to France where they embrace that kinda crap.

IMO, we should stay in Iraq and "setup shop", especially with Iran going nuclear and with Russia / China mixed into the equation.http://www.ls2.com/forums/images/smilies/bigun2.gif

We've been conducting ourselves the same basic way for ~230 years and look where we are in the world. Why change now - especially since 9/11?

That video gives a real meaning to "nuke 'em til they glow".

I agree with Beau and Ronald. In fact, I'll go as far to say that we should consider a tactical nuke right in Iran's backyard to take out their capabilities. I know, I know... I'm cold-hearted and "innocent" people will die. Yes, there will be some "collateral damage". Take control of your country before we have to resort to these tactics.

My prediction is that if we don't take out their nuclear sites, Israel will... and we'll certainly defend them.

Go read Tom Clancy's "Sum of All Fears": it's almost ridiculously easy to build a nuclear bomb. The hardest thing to do is to get the nuclear material needed to complete it--and overseas, there are places where you can walk in and get waht you want, like getting a six-pack at 7-11. :nono: And "getting hold of" is easy, too, thanks to all those Soviet warheads that "dissappeared". :(

Tom, I apologize, clearly "tongue in cheek" doesnt translate well in print on a forum.. I still keep in touch with some of the folks I worked with at HCA that live in Kalifornia. None of them are/were the stereotypical picture that gets presented to others outside of the state.
